Sigma Tau Gamma - Delta Pi Chapter
Sigma Tau Gamma National Fraternity was founded on June 28, 1920, at the University of Central Missouri, and the Delta Pi Chapter was founded at Pitt-Johnstown in 2007. The fraternity colors are azure blue and white. The members of Sigma Tau Gamma uphold the six principles of value, learning, leadership, excellence, benefit and integrity in their everyday lives. The national philanthropy of Sigma Tau Gamma is Books for Kids; at a local level, Sigma Tau Gamma raises money for cancer research.

The Sigma Tau Gamma Fraternity at the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown was re-founded on February 3rd, 2007 and re-chartered on April 11th, 2009, making it officially recognized on a national level. Since then, the brothers of Sigma Tau Gamma have earned thousands of hours of community service through campus clean up's, participation in the Light the Night Walk for Leukemia and the Habitat for Humanity Spring Break Collegiate Challenge, raised thousands of dollars for their local philanthropy, the Susan G. Komen Foundation, through the sales of their breast cancer t-shirts and bands, and have won various campus awards such as the Organization of the Year Award in 2011. They are currently the largest fraternity on campus and are involved in many other student organiations as well, such as the Student Government Association, Habitat for Humanity, and various honor societies.
