Winter Jazz is made possible by Mark E. Pasquerilla, who since 1993 has underwritten the costs of artists' fees and provided personal and corporate support. "We are all proud of the contributions of Winter Jazz, both monetarily and the fact that it has brought world-class artists to the Pasquerilla Performing Arts Center, thus enriching the cultural life of the entire community," Pasquerilla said.
Winter Jazz 2001 featured three-time Grammy Award winning vibraphonist Gary Burton and pianist Sergio Salvatore.
The Pasquerilla center presents a variety of cultural events, including musicals, adult and children's theater, dance and music productions to more than 12,000 patrons annually.
