Robert W. Matson, Acacia, professor of history, was presented with the President's Award for Excellence in Teaching during commencement exercises at the Johnstown campus on May 4. Matson joined the Pitt-Johnstown faculty in the Division of Social Sciences in 1983.

They attest to his demand for excellence and to his rigor in the classroom.
